Dr. Katrina Pittman is the owner of A Paradigm Shift, LLC, a Counseling, Psychotherapy,
Coaching and Consulting practice located in East Point, Georgia.
With over a decade of diverse experiences and a terminal degree in Counseling Psychology, Dr. Pittman works with young children, adolescents, and adults providing an array of services. Her professional experiences reach across educational, psychological, behavioral, judicial and social spectrums.
As a licensed professional, the services that Dr. Pittman provide are not limited to direct services such as counseling, psychotherapy and/or coaching for individuals, couples, families and groups but, include consulting, supervising, crisis management, EAP services, pre-trial diversions, trainings and workshops. These services are rendered in an eclectic style using evidence-based practices that allow the customizing of treatment plans or goals to successfully address clients or company concerns.
Dr. Pittman is an interactive therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life challenges. She intergrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. The mastery of her craft allows her the ability to navigate seemlessly between providing counseling, psychotherapy, and/or coaching within the same session if warranted.
Dr. Pittman's scope of practice includes knowledge, skills and techniques to address everyday life issues, goal setting, stress and anger management, behavior modification, grief, relationships, identity, family of origin, parenting skills, family violence, trauma, career, depression, anxiety, life development cycle, faith based and addictions such as substance, gambling and shoplifting to list a few.
In addition to being a prominent therapist, Dr. Katrina Pittman has presented at conferences and summits as well as been an expert guest on television and radio shows speaking on the topics of trauma, challenging behaviors, social media, stress management, relationships and mental wellness.
